Sajid Nadiadwala writes a letter to Home Minister, requesting authorities to stop the circulation of the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s disturbing images
Hours after news broke out that Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput was no more, photos of his mortal remains started circulating across social media. Everyone was disturbed by the fact that the photos were being shared carelessly and nobody did anything about it. To stop the circulation of the disturbing images Sajid Nadiadwala who had produced Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film Chhichhore, took immediate action and spoke to the Home Minister of Maharashtra.
The producer requested the authorities to take necessary measures to stop the circulation of said images. The producer also sent a letter requesting the same. Soon after the letter was sent, the authorities took prompt action and the Maharashtra Police's cyber department issued a warning to people to refrain from circulating pictures of the deceased actor’s mortal remains. Terming it as a 'disturbing trend', the Police on their official handle, warned that legal action will be taken against people sharing these pictures.
Sajid Nadiadwala co-production venture Chhichhore which starred the late actor spoke about prevention of suicide but seems like destiny had totally inverse written for the actor in his real life.
The actor died due to suicide at his Bandra residence on Sunday leaving the industry numb. As per reports in the media, he was dealing with depression and was under medication for the same. Sushant Singh Rajput was last seen in Netflix movie Drive co-starring Jacqueline Fernandez. Also, the late actor’s last movie of his career Dil Bechara helmed by his friend Mukesh Chhabra starring Sanjana Sanghi is yet to be released.
